I believe that this book is insightful, his life story is encouraging. I salute with his mother had taught him about Christian faith, so that he becomes an egalitarian, not discriminating between people. Such a good bookRacial discrimination exists because of generational taught values. If you place a group of young children in a room, none of them treat anyone a different because of skin color. Then, by the time they are teens, they start showing those tendencies. I think that his mother was one of those people that chose to break that. I am happy that I was raised to never judge a person by their skin color

The Reject Bench is the biography of the author, James Morgan, that started when they moved Claremont from Upland until he come in military. I believed that his memoir is worth reading. Thank you for your wonderful review.

I like it when people are honest when writing their autobiography instead of filling it with only the good things and praises for themselves. I appreciate the fact that he talked about racism and what black people went through during his high school days. Good one from the author. Congratulations on being the book of the day! Nice review too.

The group of transferstudents to Clairemont High School called themselves The Reject Bench. This is quite a remarkable story.

While I enjoy reading memoirs, I did not find anything eye-catchy about this one. Hence, will have to pass. But I will definitely recommend this book to my friends who might be interested in reading this story. Thanks for a detailed review.
