I only recently developed a love for historical fiction. This book sounds like one I should definitely read. I love the way the review out lines the plot, emotions and style without giving anything away. It is very well written.

I appreciate that you highlighted the author’s use of real maps because it feels more real and enhances reader experience. I wish we got to read books like these in school. Thank you for the review!

I really love to read historical fiction. These books teach us a lot about history. For me, it is very fascinating to read books that tell stories about times that happened long ago. I will surely read this book later as it also sounds very interesting. Thank you for the great review.

After reading this review I am truly intrigued! I love an educational book that teaches through stories and characters that have you emotionally invested in history so you feel like you're not only learning about it but living through it!

Despite not being a big lover of historical fiction, I think recounting its tale in this fashion is a great way to keep the past alive. The reader is given a vision, allowing them to peer through the eyes of those who lived in that era. The review is excellently written and has good flow.

We have to remember the native americans who where sometimes unfairly treated by our ancestors. Their culture and language have to saved as best as possible.

Actually one thing I look forward to find in this historical fiction is not history for it's own sake but Indian culture instead. This must be so educative anyway!

Sadness can be an element in this type of story, I agree. The history is worth the telling and this one does it well.
