It sounds like this book not only sheds light on the atrocious world of child trafficking and exploitation, but also wraps it up in an exciting story.

I am always a sucker for novels about children in trouble. They have no way to fight back for themselves. I wish that more information had been given about Diedre''s father's involvement.

A fictional thriller storybook "The Silence of Children" by Chris Lewando, which follows Deirdre's battle against a pedophile network with her dad. This one appears interesting to me.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.

This book addresses reality and real issues affecting children and seeing people who take it upon themselves to change the course of history is commendable.

Child trafficking is a heinous and reprehensible crime that most find difficult to confront or consider doing something about. The subject is perfect for a crime thriller! Thanks for your review.

I must confess the story kept me in front of the computer for more than a couple of hours, though I only intended to sample it. Addictive, as the reviewer said, indeed! Well-written, fast-paced and simply pleasant. Good review as well!

I am glad that the book speaks on behalf of victims who cannot do that - on behalf of child trafficking and exploitation victims. It is commendable that the story looks real. I like that the book is a great blend of mystery and suspense.

Children are a vulnerable group in the society and they go through alot in silence. The basis of this book is to bring children's welfare to the fore. Also the drama around the plot makes the book a thrilling read. Because obviously the syndicate has to fight back

What an attention grabbing story in the horrors of child abduction and the inhumane gangs that engage in this. Fighting against this horror can not be easy and yet this is what this father and daughter set out to do. Good book. Eye opening.

This book contains very specific themes about exploitation and child trafficking. They are themes that are quite sad and difficult to write about, so I find it commendable for the author to have written a story that captures the essence of the gravity of this topic. It definitely provides a new perspective and deeper thinking while reading. Congrats on the BOTD!

Even if it may be "the right blend of suspense and mystery," I don't find the topic particularly appealing. Thank you for a thorough review.
