Thanks for your detailed review; the storyline seems intense and captivating. The book seems to have everything I like in a story (mystery, thriller, suspense), I would like to read it. I hope it doesn't have many graphic and gruesome scenes.

The author is writing about something going on all over the world: human trafficking. So, many people are oblivious to what's happening around us. With a fiction story addressing the problem, people may be forced to see the nasty truth. The book sounds like a great story full of suspense and mystery. I've just added the book to my bookshelf so I can check it out later. Great review!

Thank you for the detailed review. You included the pros and the cons without bias and have left me intrigued. I will be downloading this book because of your honest review about how the author didn't include enough details on parts of the book but it was still captivating.

It is always difficult for me to read books that focus on child exploitation and harm. However, the plot seems interesting and I'm curious to see how Deirdre and her father fight against the criminals.

Pedophilia is a topic that does not get much coverage and I like the fact that this book deals with it.

Children are the most vulnerable species in the society. They hardly have a platform or means to plead their cause, or voice out their concerns. It is a good news, therefore, to read how Lewando in The Silence of Children discussed the themes of child abuse and exploitations. I hope the world hears the cries of children through this book.

This story seems exciting and realistic. I love that the book has a hero and heroine in the form of the main characters. I'm curious to find out how things will unfold for Deirdre and her father. Congratulations on making book of the day!

A book about crimes committed against children and guess who is fighting for justice on behalf of children, a father and daughter. This has to be a very interesting story to read, the story line is unique.

The author deserves accolades for writing a book that examines a very serious issue. I also loved the father and daughter protagonist duo. Thanks for the interesting review.

I am a thriller junkie, so this book is right up my alley. The father-daughter tandem is also a novelty. I am excited to start this series. I only hope there won't be too much violence involving the children. The title reminds me of The Silence of the Lambs. I don't think I can handle such violence any longer.

What an interesting book, this book touched on a lot of topics that might be uncomfortable for people, but these things unfortunately happen in the real world.

I am glad there's a book against paedophiles! It is a war that shouldn't only be waged in "the silence of children" but also out here in the real world. I applaud the effort of father and daughter. Children such innocent beings. Those who harm them are the worst of the worst. Great review.
