This book seems to be filled with suspense and mystery. I love that the author didn't sugar-coat the horrid nature of child trafficking and exploitation. I can't wait to read this.

"The Silence of Children" reminds too strongly about "The Silence of the Lambs" especially since the crime is as awful and despicable. Really not something I am currently in the mood to read even through I am grateful to get it free and happily shelve it for further. Congrats with BOTD!

"Would you risk your life and everything connected to you to save a life if need be?" This is a thought-provoking question. I like the storyline and think the theme of the book bothers on humanity. I congratulate the author on being the book of the day.

Even without getting the book yet, the title looks captivating. I love the fact that the Author talked about the good and bad side. Also, talking about the hero and the heroine makes me want the book more. Thanks for the review

This book covers some meaningful topics such as child trafficking and exploitation. This thriller novel sees a father and his daughter battle a pedophile network. This book exposes the cruelty that some children endure. I think that the intense storyline is fitting.

I might be a too sensitive reader for the topic of child abuse. However, it's great that Deirdre and her father are fighting against this horrible network, and I'm sure many readers would find this fictional story engaging.

Though a fictionalized story, I think the underlined theme of the book is quite interesting and further established our nature as humans who must always strive to protect each other. I congratulate the author on being the book of the day!

My apologies to the author, but there isn't a chance that I would ever read a book that features child trafficking. I can't even bring myself to watch a movie in which a child is in danger. I just can't do it, even though from the first several pages it's obvious that this is a well-written novel. Congrats to the author on BOTD.

Books containing themes like child trafficking and exploitation do not appeal to me. However, your review of this book was amazing. I enjoyed reading it.
