Elephants are magnificent creatures. Fromage had never seen one before. Inca, his all-knowing sister, had never seen one either. Imagine their shock when they saw a mother elephant and her child. They were the biggest animals these two had ever seen. A quick decision to observe them close by led to a strong friendship. Together, they tackled the mystery of the missing sword and other artifacts. Inca, the head of her little group, would not rest until the thief was found. Who could have possibly stolen those items?

The title of the storybook is Serendipity Mystery: Diary of a Snoopy Cat. R.F. Kristi authored it. I like so many things about this book. The first thing I like about it is its simplicity. The author did not use big words to make her story appear fancy. You may say that she did not do that because of the demographic she was probably targeting when writing this book. Whatever the reason, I am grateful that she wrote this book that way.

The second thing that I liked about this book is its inclusion of illustrations. All these pictures showed me a snippet of the adventure Inca was on. Some showed the elephant, and others showed the forest and its animals. They all added to the pleasant experience I got from reading this book.

Thirdly, I liked the lessons it taught. It preached against certain ills in our society. It hammered on the importance of integrity and honesty. It also showed me that I do not need to be the same as the next person to show them kindness. All these lessons will stick with me forever. They are what I liked the most in Serendipity Mystery: Diary of a Snoopy Cat.

I will be honest and say that I did not see any negative features in the book. It was edited exceptionally well. It told a great story, was fun to read, and was very educative. I did not hate anything about it at all. I rate it 4 out of 4 stars because of this. I hope that it has a sequel.

The author said this book is suitable for readers ages seven to twelve. While I agree with her, I also want to say that you must not be within that age bracket to enjoy this book. I am not within that age bracket, but I read this and loved it. Therefore, I recommend it to anyone who cares about books on the theft of precious artifacts.
