It's been a while since I've come across a book like this and it made me nostalgic of the days I used to read The Famous Five. I love the review. Congratulation on BOTD.

Thank you for sharing your review with us. I am definitely keen on adding this book to my reading list. The premise is sweet and innocent. I look forward to reading about the adventures of this young lady and her dog.

I like the fact that this children's book is promoting curiosity among its readers (which are children). This is an important value/skill that an individual must learn while they are still young. Congratulations to the author for BOTD!

As a Sherlock fan, I'm curious to know how Pickles adapted his methods to her work in this fun-filled and nostalgic mystery novel.

This could make for a good story for children which seems to be set in the 80s and 90s; this is a detective story and dogs are an important part of this story. Thank you for this succinct review!

Set in 1990s the book does not talk about technology. It gives the readers nostalgia and we still appreciate paperbacks over e-books. Thanks for the thoughtful review and special the cover description is perfect.

There are two nice detective story books:
"The Adventures of Sweet Pickles McGillicuddy" and "The Mystery of the Disappearing Ruby Earring" by James C. Wright, which revolve around an aspiring detective, Jennifer, who is trying to find a missing Ruby ring. A lovely review.

The cover and story of the book seems captivating. More than just worth reading, it's inspiring and entertaining where the expected insertion of life's moral values is applied. Thanks for the honest review.
