I think this applies only to older Nigerians. I think this book can be applied irrespective of location. We are all having same issues, especially with finance.

This book is very much applicable to everyone and from the lessons and views being presented in the book, I can see it as basically something everyone will need, regardless of where you are.

This book has a general application to everyone in any part of the world. Whilst the book is concerned with Americans specifically, retirement is something everyone has to plan for and therefore people should pick the parts of the book can they can apply to their lives.

If I weren’t living in the US, I don’t think much of this book could be applied since many of the programs talked about are exclusive US programs. The thought process of planning ahead can be applied to everyone though!

The lessons in the book are definitely applicable everywhere in the world. At some point in our lives, it is necessary to retire, one can't be working for the rest of their lives.

While reading the book, I thought the same that it applied only to those in the US. But on further reading, I realized that retirement is common in almost all countries. Despite that this book would be most applicable to Americans, there are some values and lessons that could be universally learned from it.

Personally in my country Uganda, most people find themselves retiring with no money but several taxes to be paid. They therefore start living in the villages where standards of living are very poor. I bet reaching this book would largely open minds of several individuals, and they would plan for their future; hence they do not suffer during retirement age but have the best time of their lives

I 100% agree with you on this. In Uganda, most people retire with no money. Actually, most of them work even in their old age apart from those who made preparations for their old ages. For example my dad built rental house and even though he does not work, he still earns.

The information in the book can be applied to anyone even if they are outside of the U.S. in my country, the government will deduct your salary until you retire. After you retired you can redeem all your money at once if you work for a non-government company and if you work for the government then the government will give your money monthly in a certain amount. But sometimes, the money won't be enough for some people.

The teachings are transferable to my own nation. Around here, there isn't much emphasis placed on financial literacy; many retirees lack planning and rely heavily on others.

The information in this book can be applied in my country here in Nigeria. Most people living here don't think of enjoying themselves before they retire. They just keep working and some time till old age. I hope they can read this book and learn a lot from it.

I think this book can apply to you whether you live in the US or not. You simply have to adjust the principles to find your country. After all, we all go through the same financial crisis.

Yes, we can apply the methods mentioned in the book outside the US as well. Everybody needs advice with planning life before and after retirement, financial planning and everything irrespective of the country you live in or your profession.

Being a Nigerian myself, I concur to this.
