Ice cream is one snack that kids enjoy. There are many flavors, and each child has their favorite. Well, vanilla ice cream is considered dull and unpleasant by many young ones and even some adults. But what if we put some little twists to it? Can we make it tastier? Can more kids make it their favorite flavor?

The author brings to our attention how savory vanilla ice cream can be. With a few adjustments and additions, parents can make it their children's favorite flavor. In an instance, the author says, "Vanilla ice cream can turn pink, just by adding a little strawberry. Before you know, in just a blink, we can all feel very merry."

Some kids may like the treat a little crunchy. To make it so, you need to add a few nuts. Plus, some cookies will suffice! Children and even adults may find vanilla a bit boring. To add some color, we can pour chocolate syrup on top to make it more vibrant.

I enjoyed how each page corresponded to the image. When the author talks about ice cream in a cone, she includes a colorful illustration to cheer up the reader. Also, Kimberlie informs kids about the negative effect of consuming too much ice cream. It can cause a stomach upset. Therefore, we all learn to minimize the quantity of the treat.

Because there wasn't a single grammatical error, the book is exceptionally well edited. I rate it 4 out of 4 stars. Moreover, I didn't find anything to dislike. The author's ingenuity caused me to absorb some information I didn't know. Anyone with a kid who cherishes ice cream will be suitable for this novella. In addition, I recommend Why Vanilla Ice Cream Is My Favorite by Kimberlie Smith to young children between the ages of 4 and 9 years.
