Lilla sounds like the definition of a strong female character. Excited to read the first novel and pick this one up to see where she takes me!

Magic, strange creatures, galaxies and technological advancements that make earth look ancient (I assume), and thrilling battlefields, make this read my cup of tea! Thanks for the recommendation. I look forward to starting the series. Congrats on the BOTD!

This supernatural fantasy action book is part of a series. I appreciate that there is a glossary for those yet to read the first book in the series. So who is Lilla? Does she succeed in the mission which sounds like a tall order? This action novel seems to have many characters and I believe needs a lot of attention. Congratulations BOTD.

I will be passing on this book for now, as it seems that a reader would need to read the first book in the series to really understand what is going on. A strong heroine in a sci-fi book is an awesome concept! Even though she is married, Lilla demonstrates how strong women can be on their own. Thanks for the review!

I haven’t read the first book but since this is a standalone book, it shouldn’t be a problem. The storyline doesn’t look like I needed to have read a prequel to understand it. It looks like an interesting book.

An interesting review, I'll have to check out the the last Lumenian, but since it can be read as a standalone I'll start with this

The book seems interesting and exciting, full of various events and adventures with lots of strange creatures, magic and technology. It will be interesting to find out more about Lilla's quest but it's the second book so it's obvious I will have to read the first book first even though it was said that the second book could be read as a standalone. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting fantasy story about a young Lumerian woman who is tasked with getting the Teryn army to join the fight against an evil god/lord of destruction. It might be worth a second look. Well done.

I liked the descriptive tone of your review. I made the book interesting to me. I plan to add this series to my to-read list. Good job.

I am not really a fan of fantasy books. They usually contain lots of "uncommon" languages and names. From the review, the book looks like a good adventure story, and will make more sense if I read the first series before this one.

I never was all that interested in Sci-Fi/Fantasy and therefore always paid to it much less attention than any other genre. As a consequence, even through I read description in review carefully, I do not consider myself capable of making an objective judgment about the storyline. Sorry, and congrats on BOTD!

I like the character of Lilla and the task she had to undertake to prove herself. The other supporting characters also have their roles well panned out. Sounds like an exciting fantasy tale with loads of twists and turns.

I really didn't understand this review. Sci-fi books tend to be complex sometimes. I really wish I understood the plot of this book. I would have loved to read it.
