The Gemstone Detective: Buying Gemstones and Jewellery in the USA is a detailed guidebook put together by the author, Kim Rix GG, an expert in the field of gem study and identification. This guidebook provides information on precious minerals, stones, and metals and their locations within the USA. The author also discussed the tricks to successfully maneuvering the gem market and gave a clue on determining what could be a reasonable price for gemstones and stones that are slightly less valuable. The author doesn’t stop providing this information and tricks. She also generously provides links for verification and further information.

The mineral world is not left out of the rising adulterations in business. Mining these natural resources has become so profitable. Some experts in this business take advantage of the naivety of tourists, gemstone customers, and users to exploit them and make extra bucks off the pockets of these poorly informed people. In this book, she went on to say, “if you don’t think this is enough, satisfy your enlarged curiosity by opening the pages more.”

The Gemstone Detective: Buying Gemstones and Jewellery in the USA by Kim Rix GG is a handbook of gemstones, minerals, and metals findable within the USA. This is the sixth book in the Gemstone Detective series. Minerals, gemstones, metals, and rocks are natural resources drawn from everything in nature and used after careful modification by specialists. The multipurpose use of these minerals makes them very valuable and provides a lucrative business area around the globe.

The positive effect of this book on me was that I would never look at a piece of jewelry the same again because, indeed, there’s much more in that beauty that draws your attention. I feel I can more cautiously purchase one now. I'm storming the nearest gem market with a list of all the clues in this book. I am ready to own a stone. For this reason, I have no negative points for this book. The excellent awareness that this book created about these items was enough positive points for me.

Information is one aspect of life that cannot be undermined, and the beauty of sitting in my comfort zone and being furnished with this kind of information is inexplicable. On this note, I rate this book a 4 out of 4 stars. It appears professionally edited, as it contains few errors.

I genuinely wish to recommend this book to every jewelry lover (at your doorstep is the savior you’ve sought for a long time). Gem enthusiasts, gemologists, gem business owners, travelers, and tourists would also love to read this book. If you are also information curious, take your favorite seat, grab a drink and enjoy The Gemstone Detective: Buying Gemstones and Jewellery in the USA.

I haven't seen a story that covers gemstone without mentioning the jewellery business. I want to understand gemstone and how it works. Thanks for this informative review.
