I would love to see the rest of "His Dark Materials" by Philip Pullman made into movies. I was so excited when they came out and then they were stopped completely.

I would like Tanya Huff's blood ties series to be made into a film. I didn't think much of the tv series and would like to see it done properly.

I hope that they continue with the Chronicles of Narnia and make The Last Battle. I loved the old BBC versions of the stories but they stopped at "The Silver Chair" and never did the last book. I love the Last Battle and really hope they don't give up now because the last one didn't do as well as the others.

I wish they would turn A Thousand Splendid Suns into a movie. I think it would be really moving.

Hey Mokey,
A book that I wish was a movie? Good question. If I had to pick right now I would choose King, Kaiser, Tsar, or another book that I can't remember right now. I think that WW1 hasn't been explored enough from the perspective of the three kings during WW1, at least in cinema. Point being, a movie about the relationship between George V of Britain, Kaiser Wilhelm II, and Tsar Nicholas II of Russia, could only further personalize the experience of WW1 and maybe even show the disconnect between the cousins, and between the kings and those who served under them. Have a good one.

I'd love to see The Magicians and The Magician King by Lev Grossman. Fox nearly made a miniseries based on them a little while ago, but that fell through. A shame, too- apparently the pilot script that they rejected was hilarious.

I think the Stargazer series by Claudia Gray would be an amazing movie. I love the characters in the story, and the plot is great. <3

Either the CHERUB series by Robert Muchamore or the young bond series by Charlie Higson.

IMO The Puppet Boy of Warsaw would make a superb movie - I do hope someone takes it on.

Good news for Artemis Fowl fans, apparently Disney are to film the first two books in the series, about a 12-year-old millionaire criminal mastermind, and the screen adaption is to be done by Michael Goldenberg, the screenwriter of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.

There are a couple Nora Roberts' romances I'd love to see as movies. And maybe Fern Michaels.
But ultimately my go-to movie wish would have to be After the Night by Linda Howard. The whole story of the book is just so captivating and interesting. To me, at least. :D

I would like to see Life of Pi made into a movie which I actually think might be in the works.
I completely agree about the Pern books being made into movies or a miniseries. I guess I'm a little late to be quoting this isnce Life of Pi is already a movie lol
