I love children's books, and this one has a great message about not judging a book by its cover. Congratulations on BOTD!

This review brings out that misconceptions are sometimes in the mind. Children are innocent and usually unbiased. That explains why the small monsters did not fear the big monster king. Buckley ad Spur visits the King's castle to play despite advice on the contrary. This book seems good for children. Congratulations BOTD.

I consider it worth applauding the teaching that the book transmits. Sometimes we judge people without knowing who they are. We only act by what we hear about them. This book seems like an excellent choice to read to little children.

It's hard for children to grasp that different doesn't necessarily mean scary.

With some lovely illustrations, it sounds like this book is really able to deliver the message of how people and their differences can mean they become great friends.

This sounds like a delightful book that would teach children the benefit of not judging someone without truly taking the time to get to know them. Thanks for your great review.

This is a great children's story that is fun and engaging. It would be a great book to add to a little one's library for a fun family read. The artwork is adorable and colorful. All wrapped up with a great message of friendship and getting to know someone before passing judgment.
