This sounds cute and fun! My brother's stepdaughter is right in that age group, so I might pick this up for her. Thanks for the thorough review.

I liked that the vacation in Sri Lanka included cultural things as well. I would have also liked to have seen more of that in the book. Nice review!

I just finished the 8th book and now am reading this one. Who would have thought that a grown woman would enjoy these kids book. Library was my favorite activity at school. I was head over heels in love with the Nancy Drew Mystery books.
