Mattie met Carl when she was grieving for the deceased Mr. Errhmann, who had just lost his life to the PeaceKeepers. Mattie was shocked when she stepped out of the house for the first time as she had never expected the city to be a dirty and destructed place like this. She tells Carl about the life she had always lived. Carl didn't believe there was a beautiful life out there besides the dirty street, but for Mattie, Carl decided to leave. The New World Order was founded after the United States lost its international dominance. Jim, a veteran of the United States, refused to relinquish his allegiance to the United States, which made the New World Order label him and his friends AWOL. With a death sentence on his head, Jim began his journey to search for his friends. On his way through, Jim met Carl and Mattie, and they all began a trip to search for a beautiful life amidst the chaos.

Of The Earth by Kim Cousins is not a normal bedtime story as the novel takes one through determination, healing, betrayals, and the test of faith, and the author wrote the book from the third man's perspective. Of The Earth by Kim Cousins is filled with different emotions and genres; it's a perfect blend of action, suspense, mystery, thriller, betrayal, and romance. This story shows the real meaning of dwelling in faith amidst chaos and the anti-faith. The novel is very engaging; it's a page-turner. I love how the author added animal dialogues too. I love all the characters except the antagonists.

I don't have anything to dislike about the book. The proofreading is superb, and the dialogue is very engaging. It's well-edited, and there are uses of pictures that I don't think were necessary because the author's description style is excellent and well-detailed.

I would love to rate this beautiful novel 4 out of 4 stars because I don't have any complaints whatsoever. Even though this story has many Christian-themed plots, it has its own interesting and reasonable plot. It is a perfect blend of action, suspense, betrayal, and romance. And I'm glad that this story is a series because I'll love to read more of the other series.

I would love to recommend this novel to thrillers, mysteries, and action lovers. This book is filled with no mature scenes and profane words, which I believe many readers would love. It's a book that shows how deep a Christian's faith is, which I believe many Christians will enjoy.
