I really enjoyed "Inferno." "Da Vinci Code" and "Angels and Demons" are still at the top for me, but I still really liked "Inferno." The plot was great and I loved all the history and how Dan Brown tied in Dante's "Inferno." Dan Brown is a very formulaic writer, but so what? That's kind of why I like this books. Formulaic writing works for some authors and sometimes not. Just depends on the writers writing ability that it doesn't bother me.
Again, lovely review! Glad to see some good stuff written about Dan Brown for a change.
