The Vietnam War has been discussed extensively. As soon as I spotted this book and finished reading the review, I was excited to start reading it. The cover gives readers the right feeling of what to expect. However, I consider the book's language to be rather strong. It is immediately clear that there is tension and elevated emotions.

The role of activism in shaping the society can not be down played. I also loved to read a different perspective on the Vietnam war.

The vietnam war makes the plot historical in nature so its genre is historical fiction. The writing style is great. I gave it a 3 stars rating. I liked it most that the plot is emotional yet intruiging. I had nothing to dislike about it. I am to recommend it to war Veterans.

I hope he was able to make himself happy in the end. The author's used a good descriptive style in their book and this was amazing. There was no part that I disliked. Readers of educative books would love this book.
I support your view that this book is emotional and those attrocities against mankind should be stoped for everyone's good. Steve did a wonderful job showing this. The style is really good.

It is truely not a popular subject and what you say of the themes in this novel is true in relation to this war. But for me I rated it 3 stars unlike you.

The plot is interesting in the backdrop of Veitnam war and present day voilance among youth. The novel is about the experiences of Steve as a police officer. However, I do not like profanity and sexual descriptions if they can be avoided. The book is an appealing read for historical fiction lovers.

Just from reading the reviews and replies I can tell that this book will be a very interesting and informative read. I can’t wait to start reading it and to learn more about this time in history through the perspective of people in my age group.

I thought that the title and the cover were very vague and I was not sure what the book was going to be about until I read the blurb. Even after reading the blurb, I still had no idea of what the book was about. I personally did not enjoy the book, and unfortunately did not finish it.

The way this book started with scenes of war, I feel it should have had a trigger warning. Keeping that aside, it had a unique way of describing the Vietnam war. The author meticulously used wars to explain the spirit of solidarity and how it can be used to bring peace.
This book is a great read for people who like reading about politics and wars, but I did not find it a great match for me, hence I left it mid way and cannot with certainty say what rating it deserves.

The importance of student activism cannot be overlooked. This book is deserving of the rating of 3 out of 4 stars. I believe the points discussed in the book were very well elaborated for the readers to grasp easily.

I think it is a wonderful book by Peter. The plot, themes, characterization, writing style, and even the editing process were super. The writer gave an excellent description of the war and its effects. The rating of 4 out of 4 stars is justified.

Wild world is a Vietnam war themed book. The books title and each chapter title are song titles from that era. This book tells the story of a man coming of age during the period of the Kent State shooting. Steve decided that he can make a difference in the world by becoming a police officer. The story follows the life changing events that happen in Steve’s life afterwards . This book is written in a clear and efficient manner. I like that it was easy to read and follow. I enjoyed reading about a time in history that I was unaware of. I enjoyed this book and I would rate it a 4 out of 4 stars.

I give this book a rating of four out of four stars. The author vividly narrated the events and the war. It felt as if they were narrating it to me. I couldn't help but visualize each moment as it unfolded.

I liked the story and the romance. I agree with the topic of the book that something must be done about police corruption and brutality. The brutality was just a bit graphic for me and I really enjoyed the ending.
