I am interested to know if Boy and Sistah will finish their quest. Am not a fan of stories like this but your review has stirred my appetite to read this book. Thanks for such an interesting review.

I have to admit, when I first saw the title of this book, I thought it was a children's book. Based off of this review, I am looking forward to diving in!! :techie-studyinggray: :techie-studyingbrown:

It's very nice of the author to include a pronounciation of the Hawaiian language. I also admire the boys' love for sistah, that made him rescue her. I'm not a lover of sci-fi novels but I'd check this out. Thanks for a wonderful review.

Thanks for your review. The Hawaiian concept sounds exotic, but I'm not a fan of incest.

This isn't a genre that I prefer, but it sounds as if those who enjoy this type of book will like it very much. Also, the cover is certainly an attention-grabber. Congrats to the author Tanner on the achievement and BOTD.

Although I love sci-fis, I'll have to pass on this book because of the many Hawaiian words used since I don't understand the language.

This is an interesting science fiction fantasy novel highlighting adventure, a unique quest, deities, family, and amazing characterization. The book is temporarily free on Amazon Kindle and has a well-written OnlineBookClub review. Congrats @TannerJerre on the BOTD selection.

This book's plot and plotline have me completely engrossed. The two protagonists of this novel are on a mission that, in some ways, threatens their own survival. This sounds like a fascinating read to me. I'm grateful to the author for a well-written story of a boy and sistah who had to go through a lot. You're welcome for the review.

Sci-fi is a genre that does not excite me. Adding Hawaiian cosmology ups the complexity of the book. But I will download the free copy and give Boy and Sistah a chance to charm me. I may just be pleasantly surprised.

Thanks for the excellent review. I prefer science fiction which could be possible and don't feel this book is a good fit for me but I do love the cover.

I agree with you. I don't think one needs a college education but, either knowledge of the Hawaiian language or a lot of patience to go back and forth to the glossary.
I understand how incest can be bothersome for us. In our age and culture is considered immoral and illegal, as far as I know. But one needs to keep an open mind about different cultures and cosmologies with this kind of book.
Thank you for your fantastic review!

This sci-fi and fantasy book is the second installment in the Boy with Goldfish series. It seems that there may be some obstacles to understanding words of the Hawaiian language. In particular, I consider annoying the subject of incest.
