I like historical fiction, but I steer away from romance. I didn't know that arranged marriages were also a thing in the West. Based on the review, this has a wholesome content, so it's good for romantic fans who prefer a clean love story. Congratulations on the BOTD.

It must be really shocking to realize you are preparing to get married and the worst part is that you have never met your husband. This book is very thrilling. Your review has encouraged me to add this book to my want to read list.
I can't wait to read the full book.

Arranged marriages were nothing new in that era, but I can only imagine how it felt for young Alexina to learn that she was betrothed to a strange man. I think the storyline of this book is intriguing. It definitely sounds like something I would love to read. Congratulations on BOTD!

I have always wondered how it marriages were arranged by the parents of the people to be wed without the knowledge and consent of those to be wed. It must have been awkward whenever the couples find out. The cover of this book is quite eye catching and the review shows how interesting the book will be. Nice one from the author. Congrats on BOTD!

Fates sweet passion by Patricia Crumpler is a fiction book, about Alexina who learned on her 21st birthday, that she was betrothed to Peyton.
I'm curious to know if the arranged marriage would work out.
Great review

I love reading romance novels but I've mostly read modern romances. That's why I'm looking forward to reading this regency-era love story of 2 people who were brought together not by chance but by their parents as part of an agreement.

I never read a book about betrothing children in marriage. I can imagine the feelings and how difficult it is for Peyton and Alexina. I think it is a book I would like to poke my nose into. I wish to congratulate the author on being the #BOTD!

Your review of this book is thorough and insightful. This book addresses real personal and social issues: where decisions are sometimes made for persons who are not old enough or informed enough to decide what is good for them, and where people have to struggle to adapt to almost inescapable circumstances.
