Something.........Apocolyptical

Hey im new to these forums but i was wondering if you could help me with something.......I always seem to a craving for some geners (spelled wrong) and my current craving is for something futurestic or apocolyptical. I've always been a fan of Wizards books and Forgotten realms book, but now i want you guys on these forums to recommend a futurestic or apocolyptical, with a lot of action please, haha i feel like im at a restruant ordering a meal, lol

The White Plague by Frank Herbert. It's not really all that actiony, but it's an excellent story.

Also The Dark Tower series by Stephen King. I had to.

World War Z my friend, lots of action, world comes close to apocalypse. All around amazing book, I also recommend the Audiobook it's a fantastically well produced piece.

The Road by Cormac McCarthy. I'd also highly recommend, even though I'm not quite sure if it fits neatly into the category of apocalyptical literature, Blindness by Jose Saramago.
