In anticipation of seeing more of Cynthia and Sky after reading Cynthia and Dan: Cyber War, I must admit that I was eager to read the next book in the McBride series. However, much to my dismay, Cynthia and Sky were not the main characters of this book, E M P Honeymoon by Dorothy May Mercer. Although I had hoped to learn more from the McBride series, Cynthia and Dan: Cyber War, this book did not disappoint in the least.

E M P Honeymoon pictures a newly wedded couple, Tom and Kelly, who happen to be honeymooning at an island resort in Honduras. With Tom out on a dive boat exploring the coral reefs, Kelly decides to take the excursion bus around the island to stroll through some shops and local venues. She is left behind by the bus while wandering off to a mystifying pigsty shop where she intends to acquire piggy gifts for her nephews and nieces. But she discovers a secluded room in the shop with the sign "Danger, keep out, employees only" on the door. Succumbing to her curious nature, she is surprised by what she discovers in the room: a set of computers with maps of the United States and Canada displayed on one of the screens. She was about to reach for her phone when an arm pushed her and dragged her across the room to the back door, but she managed to break free. What could this be? Why did they have maps of the United States and Canada? And what will Kelly do? You can discover more by reading this book.

The reader will remain engrossed in this page-turning book's captivating plot throughout its quick pace. Both terrorism and romance were major elements in this book. When they were in difficulties, I could relate to their feelings of anxiety and tension, and anytime humor was used, a smile appeared on my face. High-tech equipment was occasionally described in great detail, which suggests that the author is very knowledgeable about this field.

I appreciate that these high-tech topics were briefly covered at the book's conclusion, and the author's note at the end shows that some of the instances detailed in the book could be linked to actual events. The narration in this book was confusing at times because I couldn't tell who was speaking during a dialogue. Despite this, I loved every aspect of this book and couldn't put it down until the end.

This did not change or affect the way I felt about this book, as I was able to catch up after rereading those sections. Therefore, I would give this book a rating of 4 out of 4 stars because it was professionally edited and I only spotted two errors throughout this book. There were no loose ends, and despite being part of the McBride series, this book can be read as a standalone. The use of profane words was minor and, therefore, unnerving. Lovers of sci-fi and high-tech novels with an interesting and captivating storyline powered by suspense would most likely enjoy this book.

Honeymoon turning into adventure. This book seem interesting. I've read Cynthia and Dan and it didn't disappoint. So I don't think this one will.

One thing I like about this book is that the couple are selfless, they were determined to save their country rather than enjoying their honeymoon. Great review.

I have read many reviews about this book, and I can say that yours stood out from the rest. I like how you detailed the events in the book, which actually shows that you took your time to read it. Your use of language is also impressive. Well done!

Dorothy May Mercer is a creative author that write books with good plot. It is not surprising that this book is not an exception. Honeymoon turn to a rescue mission interesting. I look forward to reading this book. Wonderful review, welldone!!!

I love the unity between the couples here. They did their job well. And the team too, despite not knowing themselves well, they united for the mission.

This book is a real subject of interest. I love the author's constant effort in explaining rather difficult technological stuff to us in her books. She also always brings romance in, one way or the other.

This book display some technological advancements to tackle terrorism. It shows how deep the author is in technology. It is a good book to read.

This seems like an interesting book with some nice action. I've read another book by this author, and I enjoyed it. I look forward to reading this as well. Nice review.
