I do not like the idea of drafting kids for war. I do understand that in time of war able bodied men who can fight and persevere are needed. However, if I had the power to do so, I'll end it.

I would definitely end this menace of drafting kids into wars as that is not a suitable environment for young children. Kids should not be exposed to such hostile conditions.

This practice is a really ancient one. As much as I do not agree with the idea, I must state that it may be a bit difficult to end. Kids should not be exposed to war, let alone fight in one. Government can rely on mercenaries from other countries or allies to defeat their country's enemy in a war, and not on children.

Nowadays, however, human beings should have grown beyond wars. Dialogues, agreements and trade, among other strategies, should come in place of war.

It is horrible, throwing young children with their lives still ahead of them into a raging war,it is an act that needs to be stopped

I don't believe young children should be drafted for war. I believe children should be shielded from the evil of the world until they are older and wiser. Children should not be allowed to witness the cruelty of war.

If a person is not old enough to vote for their national leadership, they are not old enough to serve their nation. Children have limited real-world knowledge (which one attains through life experience) and can be easily influenced to make the wrong or unnecessarily aggressive decisions during armed conflict. Also, if children are fighting in wars instead of going to school, then when they return from war the country will be filled with illiterate young people who will struggle to adapt to civilian life because they spent their foundational years in armed conflict.

This is a very big no for me. The act of drafting kids for war is barbaric and should be stopped at all cost. I would do that in a split second if I could.

I see governments viewing kids in war to be appalling and a very sad occurrence. But, throughout time children have been sued to fight because of their good health and strength. It would be amazing if they didn't have to be subjected to those circumstances, but with the way the world and humans are I don't see that happening anytime soon. However, if I had the power, children wouldn't be allowed to fight because they haven't yet got the opportunity to truly live their lives. I don't think they should be forced to fight by governments before they have had the chance to live their lives the way they want.

The Young ones don't have to be drafted for war at such age. If I was a hierarchy in power, I would end this for good.

It so wrong to draft kids for war. How do you train a nineteen- year- old to fight in a matter of days of months? Even so,young people this days have dreams to fulfill and plans to complete,it's morally wrong to take away this freedom. It is like being a prisoner in your own country.

Kids should never be drafted into the army to fight anybody's war. It is just wrong. If I had the power, I will definitely end the menace.

If I had the power to completely eradicate the need for child soldiers, I would. War is too painful and damaging for many people either directly or indirectly. Just imagine the issues that disturb many a veteran's life and visualize a kid being exposed to that kind of trauma..in the end, those kids, if they don't die young, grow up with altered views in life and can even be sadists.

I do not think it is okay for kids to be drafted to war. War will have detrimental effects on the children and the generations to come.

If you had the power, I most definitely would you end drafting kids for war. It is inhumane to take a child who has to yet learn about themselves and selfishly place them in harm's way. This is why most persons who survived a war end up with PTSD because their brain has not fully developed yet to deal with the tragic events that happen in war. I think there is never reason possible to have a war and kill innocent people. It is just the governments way of taking control

The war itself shouldn't be the first resort to solve a problem, let alone make kids do it in place of the adults. Just like how war can result in physical, mental, and psychological trauma in adults, it can leave as much, or even worse, trauma in kids who are supposed to enjoy their developing years.
