First off, I like the eye-catching cover of the book. This poetry collection been painstakingly put together by the author is definitely worth a read. There is much we can learn from this collection of poetry.

This book sounds like it captures tragedy and romance perfectly. I don’t really read much poetry, but I may make an exception for this.

You're right, we've all experienced love and the heartbreak it can bring, so this book is relatable to a broad audience. And I always appreciate it when poetry books keep the language simple because, since I'm not a native English speaker, sometimes I find the nuances of poetry hard to grasp.
Thank you!

In the book, Penelope Chaisson combines several strong emotions such as love and pain. I like that the author seems to be progressing through her poems because she forgets about the beautiful but also painful past.

"Penelopes Purple Passions" by Penelope Chaisson. An interesting a poem book that talks about the life, love, heartbreak and falling and rising of Penelope Chaisson. She realizes that love is never a bed of roses when she fell in love. Love is a beautiful thing but it varies. Not everyone can handle a heartbreak most especially that one you love most. Chaisson has to get rid of the past and move on with her life. Congratulations on your #BOTD.

This seems like a book of very humanizing poems portaying the author through a variety of life experiences as she goes through a breakup and a period of self-discovery.

I appreciate how easy to read and easy to follow this book is even though it's a book of poems. Sometimes I find poems too flowery to even understand. However, this book has so many lessons of love and self discovery that we can all relate to. Congrats on the BOTD!

While I am not a fan of poetry or self-exploration books, this review does make this book sound like an excellent read for those who are. This seems like a wonderful read and I am glad the author was able to use her experiences to grow herself and be able to share it with others.
