This is a great review, showing us the stages of growth and development of chaisson. Picking up her life and deciding to rebuild it . Handling heartbreak and pain where once she was just innocent.

I think I had never been fall in love before. But I could understand that love is not always a flower bed. I mean everything has a challenge and lesson to take from. I'm not into poetry, but I like the idea of the life lessons through love and pain. The book's cover is so beautiful and lovely. I'd love to get it as a poster and hang it on my wall. Thank you for a nice review.

I love the cover of the book, and I love the genre, poetry. The butterfly is symbolic of the regeneration and transformation that one goes through in the many nuances of love, pain, betrayal and discovery of one's self. I see that you thoroughly enjoyed this book with all its relatable topics. Lovely review.

The Emergence of the Butterfly is a brilliant metaphor for the transformational life the author of this book experienced, and the poems beautifully depict the journey of self-discovery.

Ha! Ha! Ha! Penelope's Purple Passions! Firstly, I love the name Penelope selected. It really goes well with the actual contents of the book.

I am a really big fan of romantic literature and this particulsr book reminds me so much of the sexiest book ever written - 50 Shades of Grey. I absolutely love it! So much so that I kept reading it to my girlfriend. We enjoy the poetry style used and how well she draws scenes in one's mind.

I have not been this captured by a piece in quite a while, but this! Really love it. I don't a single a single bad thing to say.

Thank you, Penelope Chaisson! Much respect!

This poetry book seems to be easy to read and understand. It approaches so many themes, from love and personal growth, to pain and even heartbreak. I enjoy poems, so I might try this one. Congrats on BOTD to the author! Thanks for the review!

Penelope's Purple Passion is a book of poems that shares ones journey through life where love, hate, happiness, sadness and joy is so much evident. Just like the butterfly, life is a evolution. Penelope has learned to overcome her weakness and push forward. Thanks for your review.

Thanks for your review. Unfortunately, I'm not interested in poems, so I guess I will be skipping this book.

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting collection of poems about the author’s life, love, pain, growth and other aspects. It might be worth a second look. Well done.

Reading your review gave a smile on my face because I can understand your opinion based on what I read from the sample. I feel you when you said you love this book for its aspect of the author’s expression of feelings. Love, simply, has its developments and growth, is what made us today. Thank you for a great review.

I feel this beautiful and interesting book is recommended to everyone because, at some point in our lives, we've felt that love and the feeling of losing it. The emotional aspect of this book is clear and definitely recommended to all.

I can't really say that I'm a fan of poems but this is one book that I feel everyone can relate to. The emotional journey that is shown in the book, from when she fell in love to the emotional pain she felt, to her trying to put her life back together are all very expressive. Well done

It seems the book is filled with poems that show the poet's grief, anguish, and how she started a new page in her life. She realizes she wouldn't be who she is without her lover breaking her heart and her realizing that there is still life beyond that pain. Congratulations on BOTD!
