Two friends, the narrator and Sam Norseman, hatched an almost perfect idea. They came up with this idea when they were in law school. This idea was called “Man Mission,” and the objective was simple. It was a getaway for the men. They would go to a new location and have all the fun they could. This plan to always go away and enjoy their alone time brings about some thrilling adventures.

Soon, it became a ritual for the four best friends. They went ahead to create a “Man Mission Charter.” They continue on their numerous adventures for fifteen years. However, reality starts to creep in on these men. This poses a threat to their long-time tradition. I would recommend you grab a copy of this book, Man Mission, by Eytan Uliel, and follow these men on their missions.

I like the way the author incorporated comic relief in this book. Some of these adventures gave me an insight into the lives of the characters and their behaviors. I often started dreaming of going on my own mission one of these days. The author also includes lessons readers can learn about family and personal relationships. The author did not stop there. He ensured that he thoroughly described the locations, foods, and the tiniest of details about each adventurous trip they went on. This book depicts men having pure fun and not worrying so much about being "men."

Also, the author ensured that the four characters were well developed. No one was left behind, and enough was said to paint them in their individual strengths.

The first negative aspect of this book is that I struggled to find out who the narrator was. I ended up concluding that it must be Eytan. Also, this book proved to be very long. I feel so many extra details were unnecessarily included in this book. Also, too much emphasis was made on the men in this book. I understand that it is a book celebrating men having their private lives and fun. It felt like they focused more on one gender over the other.

Still, I will rate this book four out of four stars. The author is amazing, and I think I haven't enjoyed a book the way I enjoyed this one in a long time. There was no reason to remove any stars from my rating. This book had no errors. It was exceptionally well edited.

I would recommend this book to men who need inspiration on how to have fun with their friends. This book would also be suitable for those who enjoy reading adventure books.

In my opinion, I kinda liked that the protagonist's name wasn't mentioned. I was troubled about it at first, but as time went on, it added to the intrigue for me.
