Fishing for Dr Richard, by Bob Kimmerling sounds like an engaging read. It's so interesting when two people met and share their thoughts on a range of issues in the process, impacting each other's lives and that of others.

This book is full of thought provoking themes and enlightening ideas created by Dr Richard and Bob as they formed a long lasting relationship. I especially like how they can come together even when their ideas do not align all the time. Its hard to find such a unique friendship in this world, it is definitely a rare gem. Congrats on the BOTD!

The theme of the book seems unique as two men share their views about a variety of topics like death, childhood, career, education, women, health, and relationship. I deem that anyone interested in these topics would like to pick up this book.Congrates on BOTD.

What a blessing it would be to enjoy the peace and serenity of going to fish with someone whose company you enjoy like the characters in this book. The idea really appeals to me, especially because many people are stuck in the internet world and have forgotten how to truly connect with others and ignore distractions. This book is definitely something I can read.

I am finding this book interesting on many levels. It is a non-fiction story of a friendship between a doctor and a fisherman that lasted for many years and discusses the conversations they had on many topics, with family stories and events that happened over those years. In some ways, it is a simple story of a lifelong friendship, but it has much deeper themes. Thanks for a good review on this book.

I like some kind of subtle comparison between fishing and pilgrimage. The idea that two men from different generations develop a very close relationship is interesting to me. Some thought-provoking ideas can really make the reader think.

I enjoyed your review. It seems readers get to be the proverbial "fly on the wall" and hear the rich conversations between these two men.

The discussions sound fascinating, but I feel that books with religious undertones aren't for me. Thank you for a great review.

The review of this book is fantastic. I did what the reviewer asked me to do, "Grab a copy of this book," The book seems good from the title page and the Foreword. Plus, the first chapter seemed to be fascinating as well.
