This sounds to a slow-burn romance with a main character that is hesitant to love again after his failures in this department. Of course, I can absolutely get behind Seirah's love of animals as an animal lover myself!

The many divorces that Pete has had remind me of Ross from the show Friends. I hope that Pete doesn't give up on love just like Ross.

I can imagine Pete's hesitation to enter into a new relationship after three divorces. Seirah must be quite special, or really stand out in some way, for Pete to take that chance again. I think the negative aspects of the book that you mentioned would bother me too much, so I'll pass on this one, but thank you for the review!

I don’t like romance novels. They tend to feel cheesy and over-the-top.

Romance is not a genre I like, although it's funny how many divorces Pete had. It must be entertaining to find out how he ends up. Congrats!

Aww, I feel so sorry for Pete. Is Seirah another disappointment? I'll like to know that. Thanks for a good review.

Pete many failed marriages point to his lack of patience in his relationship. I hope he will treat Seirah differently if he is to have a lasting relationship with her. Thanks for the review.

Pete has been unfortunate when it comes to love. After three divorces, he feels like he has reached his limit. Then he met Seirah, and soon falls for her. But Pete has learned his lessons.

The plot intrigues me, but the rest of the review made me lose interest in the book.

As a romance reader, this book doesn't appeal to me. It seems Pete has another chance at love. But will he take it and learn from his past mistakes? Great and informative review.

'Official Review: Loneliness in the Pocket' by Graeme Stuckings well scrutinizes the romance story of the book for keen readers. The strong points of the story have been brought to the knowledge of readers. The character sketch of the female protagonist in the review is fascinating to me. The reactions to the book provided by the reviewer are an adventure to read. The advice offered for potential readers in the review is a solid one. It was great to learn that the readers would enjoy reading how the protagonist expressed his emotions and worries about getting into new relationships!

At first I was confused with the title then when I read the review I laughed because I can’t think of a better title than this: it was spot on. I’m looking forward to digging into this novel to find out of Pete finally found his happiness in the pocket with Seirah. Three divorces is too much for any person I must say, even for a masochist or a dimwit.

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting romance novel about a man that has been divorced several times and believes that he has no luck in the love department. When he attends a get together at his mother’s request, he soon falls in love with Serena, who happens to love animals. Has he finally found his true love? It might be worth a second look. Well done.

Thank you for your candid review. I laughed out loud at your mention of "dullsville" which describes the pacing. Nevertheless, I still want to give this book a go.

Relationships these days are really becoming a mess, you can imagine having three divorces and there's instances of loosing everything you've worked for. These days people need to be extra careful with the people they fall in love with. I feel like reading the whole story. Thanks for that review.
