Re: Review of About Spiritual Energy

Post by María Andrea Fernández Sepúlveda »

These energy particles are responsible for the universe's formation, our births, our lives, our interactions with other forms of life, and what happens when the physical body no longer moves or breathes. These energy particles prove that there's really no death, but we only exist in different forms.

I guess this energy is what some of us call God...Fascinating.
I love the systematic way the author breaks down what he says. He doesn't try to convince anyone to believe; he states that people will always believe what they want to believe. I find this striking because most authors want to convince readers to believe what they're saying. Nonetheless, his matter-of-fact approach to it tends to make someone believe him. At the end of each chapter, he states the main points, which summarizes what the reader can take away.
I applaud this. I usually avoid this kind of book because they claim to be the be-all-end-all and I find that a bit arrogant and disrespectful.

I also want to commend you for writing such a sensitive and open-minded review on such a touchy subject.
Great review!

This seems to read more like a textbook than something one would read for pleasure. I am appreciative of Mr. Broach’s opinions.

You have written a good review but the subject does not sound like something I would like to read, so I'll be passing on this one.

This book sounds interesting, particularly the part about after life. I'd be curious to see what kind of proof the author could have regarding that. Thanks for a great review

I believe no one can ever reach the truth behind creation, but I'd love to see this sincere opinion of the writer as I also believe in the strength of the soul. Thank you for the great review.

Existential life questions will always be important to understand what makes us what we are. However, I don't read non-fiction, so I'll have to pass on this book.

Confusing and contradicting - are two words to express my impression after reading reviews for this book. Confusion, because I believe the content is overthought in some ways to make it more sophisticated. Contradict - since, despite that I disagree on some points and wording appears ponderous, I still would like to read and study it more carefully. Apologies, no offense meant and congrats on BOTD!

This book sounds very interesting. I have not read it but would be very interested how he can how so many different aspects into his book and not try to convince people to believe as he does.

Books that deal on issues like this interests me because it is a controversial one. Many people do not seem to believe in Spiritual energy, however I think this book is proving that belief wrong.
I look forward to reading this book.

There are energy particles responsible for this coordination. These energy particles prove that there's really no death, but we only exist in different forms.
Good job describing this book which is of interest because of the age-old questions it addresses. However, the author is talking about energy and the universe's formation and energy particles, all of which are still part of physics, not spirituality. In my opinion, he has missed the mark.

This is quite a heavy book. I don't read this kind of book often but the review really caught my attention. Maybe I'll try reading a few pages first and see it from there. Thank you for the review.

The issues addressed in this book are wide and maybe incomprehensible. Attempting to answer such questions is a great attempt. I like the fact that the author isn't shoving anyone into believing his findings. It's a great book. I want to read it surely!

This book provides answers to some of life's most deepest topics and also attempts to answer controversial questions. The author combines theology, religion, research and spirituality to back up his points, which is an admirable and unique stance he uses in his book. Many people will enjoy this book, especially for open minded readers. Congrats on the BOTD!
