A strange town called Voulhire was once ruled by pedophiles and magicians who tortured and mistreated children. Lord Eldus is sent by the king to attract investment, rebuild Hillport, and assist those who suffered under Meldorath. Despite not knowing anything about magic or Meldorath, he finds it difficult to resist destroying the only viable leads
to determine his true identity and whether or not he was still alive. When the dancing soldiers attack the Hillport castle, will Eldus be able to defend his family, and what happened to his son?

This extensive, fascinating nonfiction work provides a thorough history of Voulhire, including its earlier kingdoms, conquest, and defeats. The author further discusses the hardship endured by the poor, how Siden slaughtered Barcaedi, and the return of the blue-hooded man. Additionally, a modern twist is added to the erratic behavior of kingdoms by successfully using the concept of magic to manipulate and divert the normal functional society. Galem departs the land of the princesses to the city of Magnum Caelum, where he lives in a home that he inherited from his late uncle. Readers witness his character transform into a diligent and self-assured young man who took over his uncle's business.

Matthew Tysz did a fantastic job of including a glossary, a modern twist on ancient kingdoms, magicians, and religious figures. Galen's character development and his encounters with friends contributed to his realization of how fortunate he is to inherit his uncle's business. Despite her natural curiosity, Eldus's daughter briefly talks to the blue-hooded man, but she is unaware that it was Meldorath. Additionally, the author uses suspense to pique reader's interest in what happened to Meldorath and the explanation behind Eldus and young Stanley's bizarre dreams and visions.

This action-packed mystery We are Vouhire: A New Arrival Under Great Sky transports you to a time when nations were governed by kingdoms, but the resolution of the plot leaves some loose ends. What happened to Galem, Demetrius, and Rowan? Was the king content with the new lord that the residents of Hillport chose for themselves after lord Eldus? The author omitted to mention these things.

The book is phenomenal. I enjoyed and loved reading it. There were no grammatical, spelling, or typographical errors apparent I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars.

You will undoubtedly enjoy reading this book if you enjoy mysterious ancient history and action-packed books like the Harry Potter series. However, it is not recommended for children due to profanity.
