I'm always appreciative of books/stories with likeable characters. The storyline sounds interesting too. How does one reconcile with their father who killed their mother? Great review.

I wonder what mistake Saltry made that killed his wife? Leaving Sylvia behind without both her parents would be difficult to handle, with guilt on his behalf and grief on hers. Sounds like this is a psychological thriller I would enjoy. Great review.

The plot of the story is thrilling and different but the high profanity rate wouldn't allow me read it. Congratulations!!!

I’m looking forward to digging into this novel to find out the connection of Salty to a “strangely familiar” dog, and a young woman and how his relationship with his daughter Sylvia will head to beyond the death of their loved one. I love reading mysteries and suspense novels and this one looks like it’s right up my alley.

One can imagine Salty's guilt and shame at being responsible for his daughter losing her mother. I do hope there is healing and forgiveness for both Salty and Sylvia in the book.

This book sounds like it has an amazing storyline. The review piqued my interest. A story about a father and daughter holding on to each other after such a great loss would be an interesting read. Great review!

I am not sure how you could kill your wife and the mother of your child, but I think this is an incredible start to a book. I just hope that it won't be cliche.

I haven't read this book but from this review, it looks so interesting to check out. What do we make up for a man killing his own wife and calling it a mistake? I will like to know the future events between him and his daughter. Congratulations on BOTD

'Official Review: Discards' by Allan Davis is good feedback on the action thriller story of the book for readers. It well outlines the murder mystery tale for new readers. The point that the novel explores the complex relationship between a father and daughter, strained by tragedy and strain is worth mentioning in the review. Also, the point that the characters of the story are lively and authentic, as mentioned in the review, is remarkable for readers. It was great to learn that the author's writing style is reminiscent of an enjoyable school curriculum reading!

Salty is in a very tough position regarding his daughter. How will they ever manage to have a good father-daughter relationship knowing that Salty killed her mother? Thank you for the review

I will read this book to know if Sylvia was able to reconcile with the man that killed her Mum. The author of this book is a great literary artist. Thanks for the review.
