Love is something that can make you do things you never knew you were capable of, even if it means risking your own life. Bed of Roses and Thorns by Lee Hunt is an epic, adventurous book that I would easily rate 4 out of 4 stars. This book has a lot about love, betrayal, and mystery beyond measure.

After eleven years of banishment for the murder of the prince of Erle, Ezra is back to where it all began for him in Queendom. Lady Kristen was very benevolent enough to offer him a place to stay all through the time he was banished. Despite every approach by Lady Kristen's daughter to catch his attention, he knew his heart only yearned for the Queen. However, what Ezra expected wasn't what he saw. The Queen now had many enemies. Ezra can chime in when he experiences love, and this could induce fear or lust in the people he is affectionate towards. I will stop here, so I won't give away the suspense this book contains. This is a good book to keep yourself engaged with.

There was nothing wrong with this book. The title and book cover made me curious as to what the book had to offer, and I must say with all sincerity that the book lived beyond my expectations. The protagonist, Sir Ezra, was easily my best character. He knew how to love; he was strong, resilient, and confident. The author took his time to write this plot, as every reader would see. The writing style was nothing short of a masterpiece. The suspense was very good. The book was based on a medieval setting, and this is what I enjoyed most about it. The action and fight scenes were good. I felt like I was there with Sir Ezra all through this book.

I have never been a strong believer in love, but this romantic medieval story made me think otherwise. The author did well to highlight what a good leader should be, and I learned a lot from that. This book was exceptionally edited. It had no errors. The book had both genders equally portrayed. It is absurd to see medieval books with strong female leads, but Bed of Roses and Thorns was an exception. Ezra's love for the Queen was something that kept me in this book. I was hoping that the Queen would reciprocate the love.

I would recommend this book to you if you love reading romantic books set in medieval times with lots of action.

The book cover is attractive and speaks so much how interesting the plot would be. Ezra also seems like an interesting character and I hope read more about him. This is well analysed review. Keep it up!

This romance story is melancholic. Did it have a happy ending? I enjoy books that have a happy endings. I'm not sure if this one had. Good review

This is an exceptional storyline. I wonder how Ezra is, that could make the Queen’s daughter have feelings for him. Did the Queen accept him? I guess I’ll like to read this someday.
