Review of Man Mission
Everybody does have a tradition they keep with their best friends, but how long does it last? Man Mission by Eytan Uliel is a book that talks about four boys who started a tradition of exploring different destinations and made it a habit for over fifteen years.
The tradition was started by Sam and the narrator. They weren't that close friends back in law school. The narrator brings up the idea of going on vacation to different destinations and jokingly shares it with Sam. Back in school, the idea was kind of a fantasy, but Sam later made it a reality after school. Sam and the narrator participate in the first activity of the tradition, which is on the Harper's Pass trail, on the Southern Island of New Zealand. The first activity of the tradition was fun and frightening for them. They both decided to ask Alec and Daniel to join them in their tradition, and they both agreed. What did their tradition turn out to be? Was there a happy ending? What was their main purpose for maintaining this tradition? Get a copy of this book to find out what happened.
I was completely engrossed in this book. This book motivates me to try something new with my friends in the future. It was an interesting story of bonding with friends, which is one thing that made me like this book. I liked that this book explores themes like fear, love, courage, and humour. I liked that this book shared the important stories of these four friends, which connected me more with the characters and made me feel every emotion they shared. This shows that the characters are developed perfectly. The adventurous dream of these four friends shows me what good memories are all about and makes me start writing my own wish list of things I want to do in the future with my friends.
The format of the book in the EPUB reader was very poor. This made me always zoom a lot, and some pages weren't arranged well like others. I think this will not be an issue in other reading formats or in the hard copy. Apart from this, there is nothing else I disliked about this book. The bonding with loved ones, trying something new and exposing you to new cultures shows how important it is to embark on an adventure.
I'm rating this book 4 out of 4 stars. I found no errors in the book. This shows that it was exceptionally well-edited. I recommend this book to families, friends, and people who love adventure stories. Readers who are sensitive to profanity should avoid this book.
