Lord of the rings is one of my childhood Favourite movies together with Legend of the seeker and others. I loved the movie. I loved Gandalf. My most intriguing characters are the Elves, I loved there long ears the mostlacos2693 wrote: ↑07 Nov 2016, 08:16 LOTR: What was better, the books or the movies?
I loved the movies but loved the books as well. As a whole though the movies win, which is rare since i normally adore the books and find the movies passable.
Also, is anyone going to read the new Beren and Luthien book?

I'll choose the books over the movies. The hobbit films, however can't hold a candle to book.

I read the books when I was very young, so I don't have much recollection of them, but I remember loving the movies. Peter Jackson really brought the world to life for me, so his iteration is the one I will always remember the best.lacos2693 wrote: ↑07 Nov 2016, 08:16 LOTR: What was better, the books or the movies?
