I enjoy family stories, especially families that stand together, particularly in the face of adversities. This sounds like a great memoir about the author's family. Great review.

It is a beautiful gesture that the author has written a book about his wife's life. I personally am not interested in reading this story, but it is an important document for her family.

LOGJAM of a Beauteous MIND by Peter Simon Karp is a memoir centered on the life of the author's wife, Mona. Congratulations BOTD!

I've always enjoyed stories on life, but this would have been more appropriate for me at a younger age, my opinions are sufficiently well-informed now.

The wife's sacrificial traits are worth emulating, there is a need for love to exist between families.

Death is inevitable for anyone. However, a tribute towards the life of a person should be a celebratory account of how the person affected the people they encountered. This memoir sounds as though the author did so for his wife. Nice review.

I can just imagine the kind of love the author had for his wife. The memoir he wrote for her is unique. Nice review.

I find memoirs really inspiring because they address issues we face day by day. I will check this out.

My mother suffered from cancer as well and while it was hard on the entire family, I still can't imagine what she went through that year. I would love to read this through the perspective of someone who went through something similar. Congratulations on being listed as Book Of The Day.

Thank you for the nice review. Due to the mortality references, this reminds me of "When all is said" by Anne Griffin, which I absolutely loved. So it will definetely go to my reading list!

Possibly it later becomes more serene, but my free sample was very dark and seemed pointless. Yes, it was obviously deeply therapeutic to write, but I'm not sure it's worth my while to read.

The review is splendid, but the sample was...painful to read. Not because of the style which was pleasant but because it is definitely hard to read about cancer and suffering.

What an amazing review. This sad story actually sounds like an amazing tribute by a husband to a wife he loved and cherished. I am not sure I could cope with the subject matter in this book but have added it to my books to-read pile as it does sound like a beautiful book!
