Do you think about your future after you retire? Do you consider planning about how you will manage your daily expenses after you retire? If your answer to these questions is yes, then Reconfigurement by E. Alan Fleischauer might be a perfect book for you. This book can serve as a financial guide to individuals that plan for early retirement.

Being a teenager, I was discouraged when I read the description of this book, which stated that the ideal reader is in the age range of 40 to 50. However, I was eager to read this book which was about planning ahead, working at a job you love, and having fun before you retire.

Before I began reading this book, I thought that it would be a boring one, and my expectation was that I would not be able to finish reading it. Contrary to my thought and expectation, I found this book to be exciting, and I was able to finish it. I loved the author's sense of humour. The jokes that the author included in the book made the book even more enjoyable to read. Through this book, I'm glad that I learnt some foreign words. Examples include, 'jung' which means young, 'Krinein' which is a Greek word for crisis, and 'yaun' which is a Chinese word for coin. The other thing that I liked about this book was the blending in of stories, some of which were fictional. My favourite story was the two-sided story of a poor but wise farmer in rural Afghanistan. From this story, I learnt that all situations, no matter how awful they appear on surface, have within them the seeds and the potential for good.

Not only is Reconfigurement an exciting book, it is also an informative book. I learnt about various insurance schemes, the importance of planning ahead, and social security.

Reading this book was an awesome experience. I do not have any negative aspect towards this book.

Due to the aforementioned things that I liked about this book, I rate Reconfigurement a perfect 4 out of 4 stars. I could not give this book a lower rating because there was nothing I disliked about it.

This book is suitable for people of all ages. I highly recommend it to people that plan to retire in ten years from now. Furthermore, I recommend this book to young people, even if they might not consider retiring soon. I recommend this book to them because I think that they may appreciate reading about investing and planning ahead.
