Genuinely agree with the majority of those and maybe throw in the Bronte sisters, John Steinbeck and possibly F. Scott Fitzgerald! I don't know whether it is just me, but I find more of the old classic Authors slightly more inspiring than others (although I find Jk very inspiring) and that is something I have been pondering for a while.

Jk Rowling
Stephanie Meyers
Robert J crane
Heather Bowhay

they have a way of twisting word so that they leap of the page. although they specialize in fantasy, they make it seem so much like reality also their characters are always believable.

I have to ask "To what?" Inspire requires an object spoken or implied.

Maybe a bit odd to you, but mine is S.E.Hinton, in case you haven't heard of the name before she wrote the book The Outsiders and did a series of YA books. The book was also turned into a film and stared some real hotties lol

So many!
Elizabeth Kostova, Isabelle Allende, M.M. Kaye, Rick Riordan, Markus Zusak, the list is endless.
You can't get a cup of tea big enough or a book long enough to suit me.
