Review of Reconfigurement
[Following is a volunteer review of "Reconfigurement" by E. Alan Fleischauer.]
Many people all over the world have desired change at some point in their lives. Individuals seek opportunities to change their lives to reflect their best selves. The change varies from person to person; it could be changing careers, studying something new, or beginning a new hobby. Then, Reconfigurement by E. Alan Fleischauer is a non-fictional book that helps you on the journey of reconfiguring yourself. Alan Fleischauer writes about changing one’s life towards a retirement future that is financially secure and comfortable. He believes that it is time for individuals to take advantage of financial reorganization planning in order to live a life that is meaningful to them. Reconfigurement mainly covers the steps somebody has to undertake to ensure that they have a stress-free and enjoyable or comfortable retirement plan and future. Alan Fleischauer goes a mile ahead and educates the reader on each step they should take to reconfigure their retirement life or future. The author states that most individuals around the world rarely think about or plan for their retirement. In addition, he emphasises the importance of planning for retirement and why is crucial. The steps that the reader ought to implement in their life revolves around the financial field, such as saving through different methods towards retirement, or investments and insurance covers that have great benefits when individuals retire.
The best thing about Reconfigurement by E. Alan Fleischauer is its knowledgeable aspect. As a reader, I have learned a lot of things, that I didn't have prior knowledge of. I believe any individual who picks up this book will be able to learn beneficial information that has a positive impact on their future life, especially after retirement, it's a daunting time for people because you do not have a guarantee on those monthly paychecks. This book offers broad guidance on how to prepare for retirement future.
The book is very easy to comprehend. Since this book mainly covers a lot of information that is on the financial field. Individuals who don't have prior knowledge of finance can understand the financial elements of the book very easily because the author Alan Fleischauer, explains the terms in a much simpler way that is easy to understand. Furthermore, the book also had some jokes which added some comical aspects to the book and made it less boring and more fun to read.
The only disadvantage of this book in my own opinion is; sometimes while reading I felt like the book was dragging especially when covering the historical elements. It made the pacing of the book slower. Some individuals might find it boring and even opt for not finishing the book even though the book contains valuable information. Another negative issue that is personal is the repetition of the word "yikes" it felt annoying after some time.
I would rate this book 3 out of 4 stars, this is mainly because of how insightful and helpful it is in my personal life. It has significantly offered a lot of knowledge on the topic of retirement.
I would recommend this book to people who are in their thirties and above because of the valuable information that individuals ought to know. I would recommend this book mainly because of its problem-solving and helpful aspect. It's made to solve retirement planning problems and help individuals in their thirties and above plan for a suitable retirement future.
