Review of A Dream For Peace
A Dream For Peace by Dr. Ghoulem Berrah is a non-fiction memoir that talks about an Algerian activist who fought against the colonization of Algeria by France. His heroism was extended to other African countries like Morocco, Cote d'Ivoire and more. If you want to know more about the history of Algeria’s independence, then this book will be of great interest to you.
Dr. Ghoulem Berrah was born in Aïn Beïda, a small town in the province of Constantine. He lived with his parents but was trained and brought up by his mother after the death of his father, Hamadi Berrah. Dr. Ghoulem Berrah was a medical student. He achieved a good number of awards. He went through a lot of hardships while growing up under the influence of colonalism, racism, and religious bigotry. The adversities Berrah faced turned out to be the reason he decided to make his world better and more humane for people. How do you think he will change his world? Did he succeed? Read to learn more.
This book contains a lot of sentimental scenes. I was really inspired by the author's selfless, caring, and patriotic personality. It meant a lot to me. Every part of this book was interesting to me. There were no flaws I witnessed in this book. The title of this book was the first thing that drew my attention to it. I must say, the author did a great job of giving this book a competent title. Another aspect of this book that intrigued me was the love that existed between Berrah and his mom. I think this love they shared was really inculcated into his life. My reason for saying this is that I saw a reflection of this love in Berrah's wife.
There was nothing I disliked about this book. The author was very detailed in his explanation, and that left no flaws in this book. There were a series of pictures that were added to this book. I found that to be very informative because it helped me for reference purposes. It also helps to reflect on history. There were no typographic or grammatical errors that I observed in this book. This shows that it was exceptionally well edited.
I rate A Dream For Peace by Dr. Ghoulem Berrah 4 out of 4 stars. I did not see any reason to deduct any stars from this book. The book was written at a good pace. I recommend this book to people that love books that talk about the fight for freedom. I also recommend this book to people that love books that show acts of bravery and heroism.
