ARA Review by brendonaronluke of In It Together

The ARA Review Exchange is a system in which authors review other authors' books, generlaly in exchange for getting their own book reviews by other authors. However, the person who reviews a author's book is not the same person whose book that author reviewed. This way, author reviews do not influence each other, such as by an author being inclined to reward a good review by deliving one in return or deliver a negative review as revenge.

5 out of 5

Being an author myself I was awestruck by this book this is why I have it 5 stars. You will feel the author's deep penetration into your soul!

This book is written in a philosophical way that I love. You are forced to think differently about how you have always viewed your life by the author, who has a knack for making you consider his ideas.

It blends the advantages of philosophy and self-help in an easy-to-understand and enjoyable manner. Philosophy books are often too ethereal and self-help books too preachy. In a word, refreshing. Informative and inspiring at the same time. This book is supportive and encouraging, not preachy, and has a helpful tone.

There is a strong message of positivity at its core. I found myself thinking, 'yes, that's me' as I read through many of the examples and discussions, but it is very likely that you will think the same.

A beautifully edited and well-written book. No matter what our gender, political views, or economic status are, the struggle is real. Our natural tendency is to want or expect more no matter what we have, whether it is love, money, power, or possessions.

The focus of In It Together is on finding inner peace and liberating our spirits. By letting go of negative self-talk that holds us back, Hughes provides actionable suggestions that can help us live a happier life.
