Yes. A book offers more content and also allows you to connect more with the characters. It is you who imagine and envision the way characters do stuff. In the movies- you are watching the vision of a director!

I'd rather watch the movie.

It depends a lot on the movie. For example, about Twilight I like the movies more than the books. About Harry Potter I like the movies and the books alike. That's why I think each case is different. But overall, I like knowing both the book and the movie.

I would rather watch the movie than read the book. However, if I am travelling, I would like to read the book.

I'd pick a book any day of the week. The detail is amazing and your imagination is never something they can totally get right no matte how many special effects they use@

I prefer both, but definitely read more than I watch movies or series. I do get my days when I just want to be lazy and watch a movie, but then it will probably be a binge watching day and 2 weeks+ before that feeling hits again. Then I am only interested in books - during the day if I have a quiet moment at work, it is my ritual when I wake up in the mornings and before I go to bed at night.

Read the book. When I see a movie about a book I read, I always notice that they leave out a lot of details and I don’t really like that

I totally agree with this. My first choice will always be the books.

The book is almost always better than the movie, so if I had to choose I would read the book.

I prefer movie just because I get the jist of the story in a short space of time, but if I want to feel like I am somewhere else... I would definitely read.

It variates a lot with me. I might want to read a book for one and might want to watch a movie for another.

I prefer a movie to a book. The movie simplifies the book very well. It is easier to understand the movie as it makes everything summarized.
