One of the trickiest part of writing a book for the author is pulling off being a lot of different characters at once and the author seems have not gotten the hang of it. However, from your review, I gathered that the plot was good so perhaps with some more effort this can be improved.

Thanks for the great review! I haven't read such an honest, less laudative review yet. Indeed, the dialogues seemed mechanical, lacking any originality. Anyway, the plot is quite unusual.

I really liked reading your honest detailed review and the book seems quite interesting. But as am not a fan of crime thrillers, I think I will give this book a pass. Congrats on the BOTD.

I find the title very captivating as well as the cover.
I wonder who the perpetrator is and the motive behind the murder.
Thanks for your honest review though.

This murder mystery seems to be a well-written and character-driven story. I like that the author used garbage to raise awareness of food waste and class distinctions. Great review!

I don't find that solving the crime through a conversation while eating is a bad side. Sometimes, all you need is attention to the details. Some people can be that smart.

The idea of a firm CEO's death being connected to disgruntled employees is intriguing. However, as this review notes, the lack of excitement makes me lose interest. I'd like to congratulate the author.

Despite the negative aspects of this book, I found the caution on food wastage thought-provoking, as the world is currently being ravaged by hunger. I hope the author would improve on those negative aspects in the next series of the book. Congrats on being #BOTD!

Sounds like an intriguing plot. Too bad the dialogue sounds like coming from the same person. Let's hope the author fixes that. Thanks for the review!

I thought the book description sounded very interesting, so I was curious about it. I'm disappointed that it doesn't seem to offer much thrill, though. Still, I think I'll at least sample it. Thanks for a well-rounded review.

Crime novels are always intriguing; however Murder in the Rubbish is very unique. The writing style is straightforward and matter of fact. The death of the CEO causes everyone to wonder who-dun-it. There are many characters to decipher but the writer did a good job merge every perspective together. Thanks for your review.

The book is interesting,it generally talks about the haves and the have nots, where Raoul talks about the difference between the rich people garbage and the that of the poor.He also says that the garbage can be recycled and made into better use and this may in turn change the course of his whole future. The book also encourages us that no matter the difficulty you go through in life, you must always push forward.

I believe it is a first time ever that official BOTD reviewer rate the book even lower than Average rating score. Can't say I disagree though, because the CIA, illegal networks, trafficking stolen weapons - all scream terrorists to me and are most definitely not my preferred cup of tea. Sorry, I will have to skip the book, but congrats with BOTD!
