This book is part of a series about Inca, the super detective cat. Inca, a Siberian cat, is the main character. She is always in the act of solving cases and uncovering mysteries. In this part of this series, she is on her way to South Korea with her friends. Her humanoid mother, Missy, was supposed to be a judge at a cooking competition, and she also hoped to present her special cheese at the event. When they land in Korea, Inca is faced with a new mission that she must now solve. What is this new mission?

The first good thing about this book is that it can draw a child’s attention with the presence of colorful diagrams inside and outside of it. This book was kept short too, so as not to bore the children and to also keep their attention, considering the fact that children have a short attention span. Inasmuch as this was a children's book, I enjoyed the storyline. It showcased moral virtues such as care, kindness, teamwork, and dedication. Inca is a lovable character, and I love the fact that she believes in herself.

Considering the color and appearance of this book, it was obviously made for younger children. However, some words that were used in this book may prove to be difficult for these children. This shows that they may need the help of a guardian to explain these words anytime they want to read this book. Finally, I disliked Enzo for trying to steal from Missy, making her effort futile. I was so glad that he was caught.

This book deserves a full rating and more. It ticked all the boxes as it was entertaining, educational, and precise. I rate it a 4 out of 4 stars. There were no errors of any kind in this book, and it was exceptionally edited.

I recommend Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula by R.F. Kristi to children's teachers. This would make a good “story time” story. Parents and guardians can get this book too. They can read it to their children and wards as bedtime stories.

Children have a short attention span. If the author provided diagrams and made the book short, then they'd surely like to read this book. Good review.

I really like how authors of children’s literature seem to use animals to teach lessons using human emotions. R.F. Kristi does this exceptionally well.

I've read this book and I quite agree that the illustrations are very interesting and would hold a child's attention. Inca is also an intelligent character. Their adventures in Korea was fascinating.

Children books that contain pictures are a great way to introduce young children to reading.
