I like the author explaining why he chose to compile this book by Biblical topics and how nicely organized each topic is, so that the reader could choose to study by a topic of interest to them rather than reading straight through the book. The questions at the end of the chapter will help reinforce the concepts for the reader.

This book seems like a simpler version of the Bible. Christians will love such an installment. I'd also want to read it some day. Great review.

I'm not a Christian by religion but the stories in the Bible have always fascinated and to have a book which makes it even more is amazing. This is exactly why authors should take their sweet time with any book they're writing, all the effort does show.

Wow. I have done many studies on the Bible but this one sounds very unique. I am taking this one off my bookshelf right away as I am excited to read a book on the Bible that is written with a style that is out of the box. Sounds like this is a great read for anyone.

Another thing that makes this book special to me is its simplicity. To some people, the Bible is cumbersome and can be hard to comprehend. Smith did a good job by breaking the bible into topics while providing references from the bible that bothers on each topic. His writing style, therefore, simplified the bible into fewer pages. He went an extra mile to make this piece beginner friendly. The questions attached to each topic could be used for Bible classes and discussions. The ‘Fill in the Blanks’ section could appear puerile to some readers, yet it is strategic. Being able to fill in the blank spaces with the appropriate word, tests your ability to understand and remember the content for each topic. This piece could easily be called a mini-bible.
I'm one of those people who finds the Bible incredibly complex. I've tried to read it more times than I can count, and I always give up. So I guess this is an ideal book for people like me. Or maybe for young readers.
Great review!

Due to the scattered nature of information in the Bible, there's a story about digging a field in order to find the treasure; and it can feel like that with reading the Bible, you have to read all of it to find some valuables.
This book will make it less tedious but you still have to read it as in the verse 'Blessed
is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand."
Reading is a must regardless of being blind, educated , illiterate, royal blood or pauper

This book contains a collection of Bible verses for the use of meditation and its quite thought provoking. I commend the author for the four years he put into writing his first book. I can tell that many will benefit from the simplicity and fullness written across each page. Congrats on the BOTD!

I am sure this is an excellent book for Christians who need a little booster concerning their faith and practices. However, it's not a genre of interest to me, so I'll skip it. Congrats to the author on BOTD.

204 Bible stories that are broken down into topics easier to understand. Considering the author spent four years to write this book, you can tell it will be worth the read! Thanks for a great review.

This sounds like an excellent book! The Bible can be difficult to understand so to have someone break it down in short increments, so it is easier to understand is exciting! I can't wait to read this one! Thanks for the comprehensive review!

This collection of biblical themes seems to be a good guide for Christians seeking a better understanding of God's word. I like the inclusion of a brief introductory paragraph for each topic, as it helps with understanding.
