Review of Reconfigurement
[Following is a volunteer review of "Reconfigurement" by E. Alan Fleischauer.]
Reconfiguration is a financial book, by E. Alan Fleischauer, which shares crucial information and steps on how to plan and prepare for retirement. It is recorded that many Americans, and other individuals from different parts of the world, work hard for retirement but they fail to plan for it. The author also writes about the difficulties that come with aging including the health issues that come along with it. The author provides essential information on how to solve these issues with insurance and programs, which are mentioned in this book.
Firstly, in my opinion, I can say that aging is a scary thing for most young people like me to think about. This book led me to ponder on how my life would be when I get older. I think this book is wonderful, and I equally learned numerous things from reading this book. It wasn't a boring read; the author had a way of chipping in-jokes in it, which made me laugh while reading. I loved the author's sense of humour; it was quite lovely. This book threw more light on many important concepts one needed to know while aging like income, health, insurance, investment, and planning for the future. This book enlightened me about preparation and planning for the future, especially for old age. Not everyone plans about this because most young people are scared of old age but eventually, we will all one day get old. I learned that having a source of income was important, without income; I can't afford good health insurance and healthy life. This book also shares good investment plans, I loved it and I found it helpful. I also appreciated that the author added links to websites that were helpful for me to plan my career and know the kind of work I would love to do. I carried out an important assessment of self-development with the help of this book. Many people don't love their jobs, it is a sad truth, they do the work because of the payment and not because of their passion for it. This book made me realize this. I learned that we should do the things that we love, and most especially, self-development is a crucial part of life, the same with investment.
There was no negative aspect of this book; I enjoyed reading this book.
This book is well edited, there were no grammatical errors of any sort in it. I found none. Therefore, I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars because this book is educative.
I recommend this book to mostly elderly people because this book throws more light on retirement and how to prepare for it. Also, I recommend this book to adults because I feel like every adult equally deserves to know about retirement and preparing for it.
