I hope Virginia and friends can find Jenica! Themes of friendship and true love are such good ones to explore! Twists and turns are always great to read about. Also, I love that the characters are well-developed! Sorry the formatting wasn’t great, but I’m glad that it didn’t deter from your enjoyment of the book! Thank you for your thoughtful review!

While the title and most of the content is intriguing for me, books with political or government oppression content are a bit too much for me. Books are one of my escapes. I appreciate that this review was well written and gave me insights into what this book would entail.

I love a good mystery when someone disappears and the characters tries to find out what happened to their loved one. I also like stories about how friendships are tested and especially if the book has unexpected twists to it. Great review.

True love and friendship are tested only in times of adversity. The communist regime in Romania seems to be the ideal setting for such a test.

Thank you for the great review.

The plot has many intriguing twists and turns and is action-packed. I found the sample read to be captivating, and I became anxious to know Jenica's story. Great review.

Firstly, a nice book cover. I do love that this book is not so bulky and yet there is much to explore with the mystery plot. The mystery genre is one of my best and it would be nice to follow this story till the end. Wonderful review.

This review wasnt moving to me... it began in a captivating manner, but then just as the Reviewer wrote, I got bored with reading. I didnt get a true jist of the storyline. I am guessing I need to read it to find out.

"...ensure you're safe" should have been "your", "decoding coded..." is redundant and "won't deduct any star from my rating" should have been "stars". Other than these minor details, the review was written brilliantly. 4 out of 4 stars for you too Melissa Jane. Keep up the good work.

Being Romanian myself, I am glad to see here a novel by somebody from my country. The plot is based on true happenings from the communist period and it depicts the atmosphere very well. my only observation would be the choice of the name for one of the main characters, Jenica, which is written differently in Romanian, JENICĂ, to show that it is a male name. Good review!

The story's historical background is very interesting, the communist regime in Romania is not a common topic, so it makes the book unique. Putting to test friendship and love is a great hook to engage readers. I definitely want to read it now.
