A beautiful and reflective collection of self-discovery poems sounds like a great read for those who enjoy poetry! I love that there is a nature tie-in! Also, how wonderful that it’s well-edited, even, like you said, that’s not always the case with poetry. Glad you enjoyed the book and that it can appeal to a wide range of ages. Thank you for sharing your thoughts!

It's a pleasure to hear of a book of poetry that adheres to guidelines of punctuation without sacrificing creativity, avoiding the frequent sloppiness as with other authors. Terrific review. And congrats to Ms. Lawrence on her achievement.

I adore this genre of book. So heartfelt. There is no reason not to give the book a try as it is free. The poet in me is also moved by the author's "love of nature, enthusiasm for artistic expression, and thoughtful approach." I'm drawn to the title as well. I appreciate an author's imagination.

I liked how the author provides a way to meditate on the world around them through the use of poetry. While I do not like the poetry genre, I appreciate the author's creativity in her writing. Thanks for the review!

A poem of self-discovery. Interesting! This is the first time I've come across an inspiring and motivational poem. I'd like to read it. Good review.

This author sounds like a good writer. For her to be so reflective and creative in a poem shows so. This might just be the first post I read here if I get the chance. Great review.

I don't mind poetry but "spiritual seeking" is not appealing to me. Good to know that the editing was done well. Great review.

While I avoid poetry books, I like poems that can almost fall into a song. The processing of grief and moving forward message of the BOTD sounds like it would be a nice spiritual book for every reader.

All my life, I've always thought that poems are just songs. But I came across a poem and sincerely read it. Its meaning made me delighted, and as I pondered on it; it gave me insight. I have no doubt that Lawrence's collection will bring me such delight. Congratulations on BOTD. Well done 👏.

'Official Review: A Song on the Road Home' by H. N. Lawrence has a vivid introduction. It presents the contents of the poetry book in a nutshell for avid readers. The point that the book reflects on the themes of peace, nature, love, sorrow, bliss, intimacy, acceptance, and self-exploration is worth mentioning in the review. Also, the point that the poetess refers to a series of painful losses involving her parents, friends, and beloved animals as the catalyst for the collection, as mentioned in the review, is remarkable for readers. It was great to learn that the book is suitable for readers who appreciate meditation!
