Flying a plane? Interesting! If he achieved his dream of being a pilot, then what could have happened to make his plans not go as he wanted them? Good review.

This book is centered on the fact that one should never give up. Despite the vicissitude of life, ones determination and response to what life throw at you will make the difference. Thanks for your review.

Like so many people, especially men, who grew up in dysfunctional homes, the author starts off his story with surprising clarity, the sort that comes from having overcome the dysfunction but backward love of a disgruntled grandfather. I do admire is writing style.

Yes, indeed, things do not always go the way we want them to. But sadly most people crumble at the slightest misfortune they meet. I'd like to learn how the author handled his life disappointments. Great review.

Plans that make God Laugh written by Capt. Jim "Bluto" Allen is a book written by the author on his career in Aviation. His father was a B-52 Pilot in the US
Air Force. He knew from the start when he was young he wanted a career in Aviation. The authors writes of all his education of trials and errors of his studies
at the Universities. He got his wings in November 1990. This book is a good read, but unfortunately not the type I am interested in reading. Congrats to the Author on BOTD! :)

The major takeaway from this book for me is that; if we should work hard, persevere, and keep the right people in our circle, we can always achieve our dreams. Great review and congrats to the author on being the #BOTD!

The author’s life as an aviator sounds intriguing, and I do believe that everything happens for a reason, even when our lives don’t go as we had planned. So, this book could be an interesting one for me. However, I’m not Christian or religious at all, so that part of the book could be a bit of a deterrent for me. Thank you for the helpful review.

This book is centered on faith, aviation, and perseverance. The book seems like an interesting and inspiring read. Captain Jim's story shows us that we should have faith in God's plans for us.

The title of this book is interesting. Jim's story is relatable, yet different since most of us either do not work hard, do not persevere enough, or just forget that God has a hand in our very existence. This book is a reminder of how these three factors are needed for us to reach our dreams and enjoy them. Congrats on the BOTD.
