The effects and dangers of modern day slavery is a topic I'd want to explore. I'll give this a read to learn more about the discourse.

The title of the book is a new word for me too. It means 'a thing to be corrected'. But what exactly did the good doctor want to correct? Did his work estrange him from his daughter and did he lose contact with her? And now because he feels a connection, to this murdered and sexually abused Asian girl, he thinks she could be his long-lost daughter. Hence he wants to solve her mystery and correct his mistake of not being there for her when she needed him the most?!! Anyway good job with the review.

I love a good crime and mystery book. The character of Dr. Sean Nolan seems intriguing because of his sense of justice. The theme of the boredom effect after the pandemic outbreak and lockdown is appealing. Thanks for your review.

This sounds like a good mystery thriller take up in a holiday for me.Dr. Nolan's character seems intriguing. The book seems to tap into curent themes such as sex/ human trafficking, slavery and the boredom after the covid-19 pandemic. I would love to see what happens further in the story. Congrats on BOTD!!

Dr. Nolan's character portrayal is inspiring and worth emulating. His desire to fight for injustice, even for a stranger makes him more humane. Thanks for the review!

This book had my attention even from the cover and title. It's a wonder how one can fight crime that seems to have become institutionalised already. Yet, this is well written and laid out to allow the reader follow closely as the story progresses. I'd love to read the entire book. Thanks for your review!

Wow. From the start of your review, I never thought that this was something with that kind of story. It sure is intriguing to find out what happened to that woman. I'm also interested to know how it was handled by Dr. Nolan and how did he deal with the grief of losing her.

Thank you so much for the review!

I like the mould in which the author cast the protagonist, Dr Milan, in the story. In your view he is an empathetic character worth emulating. indeed, the world would be a better place if people did not wait to fight evil until it struck at their own doorstep.

The crime and mystery novel seems to explore the forgotten cases of nameless victims of abuse and exploitation. Congratulations on Book of the Day!
