Do you have a Nook or a Kindle? Why?

I have a Kindle. At the time it was the only ebook reader that would post to my country. I use to use it all the time. However now I have a smart phone I use the Kindle App most of the time. I love how I can sync between the two devices.

I have a Kindle. I got it for Christmas a few years ago from my dad so that I'd have something to do at my three day stay in the hospital when I had by daughter. I love that it has so much functionality and the price isn't that horrible either. I have had to speak with Amazon customer support too, and they have always been very professional and great about helping get issues fixed in a timely manner.

I bought the Kindle fire for Christmas and it was without a doubt the best thing I have ever spent money on. I live overseas and I don't have an English bookstore in the area, let alone extra room in my flat for a library that I would need to satisfy my reading needs! I can bring it anywhere and when I finish one book I can jump right into the next one without having to search bookstores to find my next choice. Just pop right into the amazon store, make a choice, and start reading. I don't know what I would do without it! the x-ray feature is AMAZING!! Comes with just about every book and it really helps if you have a book with a lot of characters (cough cough Game of Thrones series). I highly recommend it if anyone is thinking about purchasing an E-reader. Extra bonus its also a great tablet and I much prefer it over my Ipad 4th generation.

I bought a Kindle a few months before I moved to Russia because I knew it would be difficult to get English books over there (I wasn't living in Moscow or any of the other big cities) and I didn't want to use precious suitcase space for books when I didn't have to. It was definitely a good choice, and I still use it for probably 50% of my reading, but now I'm in the US again I also go to the library and buy paper books if they're cheaper than the ebook.

I chose a Kindle after reading a lot of online reviews. At the time I was looking to buy one, Kindles were just miles ahead of the Nook and Kobo (or maybe Kobo didn't exist yet, I can't remember), and there were a lot more books available to buy. I was recently in the market for a new ereader (broke my old Kindle) and didn't have to think twice about getting another Kindle. Partially because I already have so many ebooks in the Amazon/Kindle system, but also because I've been so pleased with Amazon. Customer service is amazing, most of the books are very inexpensive, the devices are relatively inexpensive, and the products just work well. Seriously, I cannot stress enough how much I love Amazon. I want to start putting glittery secret admirer notes in Amazon's locker and secretly memorize its class schedule.

I have a Nook. It was given to me for my birthday. Honestly though, I think a Kindle may be better. I mean, I love my Nook, but I just have a feeling that if I got a Kindle, I might like that better.

I have a nook. Ive mostly gotten my books from barnes and noble, so the nook was the obsivios option for me

I have a different ereader. Sony PRS T2 and I love it. I dont have to charge it for longgggggg. It cant be compared with the browsing speed of tablet/laptop but still it works decently. I can carry my entire library with me.

I actually started reading more after purchasing my ereader. And I dont regret buying it.

plus it makes me look different from ppl around me..

I have an ipod touch and iphone with the ibooks app on both. That's the only reason that I haven't purchased a Kindle. I think I might anyway so I can have access to more books from Amazon.

I have a sony PRS 600. It was expensive at the time i bought it (it was the first wich touch screen) but i don't regret for buying it. It's nice to have a device only for reading. You don't get distracted by anything

I love the kindle because it is supported by a very strong company....Amazon! They have a great customer support center and unlimited book titles to browse, sample, and buy to have sent to your device wirelessly.

I love my Kindle Paperwhite. I actually don't approve of e-books but I have no choice since I don't have anymore space for my books. I bought the paperwhite because I usually read before I sleep, and the back-light it offers is good. The brightness is just perfect and it doesn't hurt my eyes.
