This sounds like a book that would be right up my alley! I adore fantasy novels and this one looks as though it will be no exception. I hope these two are finally able to close the case!

A mystery book with magic. Now that's a fun book to read. I got more curious because you mention that the culprit is easy to predict. I have to try it myself. Thanksnfor the review!

This is the first installment in the series around Inspector Russell Gaines. I find the mix of fantasy with murder mystery attractive. Sounds interesting.

Book of the day BOTD is young adult the character development are so intruinged the book introduce me to fictional land of dagrius and it's made up of continents..the novel went a head to follow the life of Russel and Julie they tend to solve a mysterious murder and it turns out that Julie is the prime suspect and Russel the former inspector of Police and the one looking at the Case!🤪 the book is so twisted with mystery, thriller and homicide, untrustworthy side😳 I bet Julie and Russel are hiding something..the book is worth reading and my recommendation the reviwer gave it a wonderful review making easy to read and understand

It is rare to find a book that combines fantasy, mystery, and crime thriller. This author has done an excellent job combining these genres. Thank you for your review.

I love a good murder mystery, however I don't care for the magic. This sounds like a good fit for those who enjoy both! I hope in the future books Russell deals with his personal issues!::

The cover is enchanting. A book about magic, mages and murder sure sounds like heaven to my ears. I love well written fantasy mystery so I've high hopes from this, just from the beautiful cover.

This was really interesting to mix the worlds of fantasy and magic with a good old fashioned murder mystery. A concept that the author has managed well.
